the 10 commandments

have you ever noticed how 8 of the 10 commandments are don'ts? why is that? does any one know? if we were commanded the opposite, to do something, would we automatically avoid the don'ts? hmmm........ why did God do that?

the WORST movie EVER

i was just randomly looking at different people's blog's. there are some very normal - whatever that means - and some very weird people out there in this small world of ours. but who's to judge? not me. anyway, some guy mentioned the movie 'open water'. this is easily the worst movie i have ever seen and i think i can safely say will ever see in my life. but it was a fun night when we went to see it. daz got me, dad and him some free tickets. so we appreciated that. it kind of almost got funny at how bad the movie was. oh and it was boiling in the cinema and dad and i thought we were going to die - of heat or boredom we weren't sure! but that was it. a memorable night none-the-less.

locked out!

so i'm in the second week of my holidays and i figure seeing as the other poor people i live with are still working i should maybe make a little effort each day just to do a small thing to keep the house tidy and clean. so monday i woke up and thought i'll vaccum the whole house and mop the floors. i emptied out the bin in the kitchen and took it outside, when i came back in i thought, oh, lucky the door didn't close because it would have locked me out. lucky. so i did a few more things and came time to mop the floors, so i grabbed a few things that needed to go outside to the recycle bin. whoops. this time i did get locked out. oh yeah, did i mention i was in my pyjamas? i thought seeing as i was cleaning i wouldn't shower and get dressed till i had finished cleaning. anyway, i then had to figure out what to do. i decided it was time to introduce myself to the new neighbours across the road who only moved in a few weeks ago! so i did, luckily the were very nice people who let me use their phone, they even found it amusing that i was in my pyjamas! ha.

a sunny day

yay, the sun was out in full today, actually i got a little burnt, not too bad, should be gone by tomorrow. i went down the beach with catherine, katherine, aaron and luke. it was pretty good, a bit windy, but the water wasn't too cold.
i've got to got to kylie's wedding tomorrow so hopefully the weather will stay fine for that though they are forecasting rain.
after that, i am a free woman for the next two weeks. haven't got much planned. and that is good.
this whole blogging thing still kind of seems a bit weird to me, i mean, it's like i am typing an email to the world, though no one may ever actually read it! strange. though i do figure if daz and dad can do then i can too.
