relationships

relationships are so important in this life. it's what life is really all about. not fame. not money. not fashion. not about how fast you can swim, how fast you can run or ride. not about how smart you are. life is about relationships. how do they work? who knows really. but the key to all relationships is open honest communication. how open and honest are you in your relationships? i am in some. still working on it in others. the key is not to shut down. discuss it. are you on the same page or not? sometimes we are on the same page and don't even know it. keep talking. don't get on the offensive or defensive. just talk. have an open mind. listen to everyone. don't assume you are right even if you are sure you are. listen. talk. listen. open and honest is what it's all about.

tonight i sat down and had a great conversation with one of my bestest friends in the whole wide world. beth. (see us below). i love her. we had a great conversation. the fact that we were able to sit in a KFC and talk about our lives for over an hour and a half - i love it. we talked. we discussed. we interacted.
