BBQ + church

yesterday i went to a lovely bbq at mike house. it was the science teachers annual bbq and no, i don't teach science, but seeing as i used to be in the office with all science teachers, i often get invited to their do's. we had a great afternoon. and yummy yummy food too.

at church, emma (of the lewis variety who i have been staying with recently) and dave become senior soldiers (in normal people's language - full member of the church). they both spoke of a calling of God on their lives and of a real relationship with Him. ian hamilton preached and was great. he talked of although we all have been chosen by God, we must decide how to respond. he was very good.

it's been a full on day at school today and yet again my brain is fried. so nothing deep today. just thought i should write as it's been a while.
